Re:handicap

My mother who is 80 yrs old had to go to the TEG hospital, she put $8.00 in the meter thinking that that would be enough plus she had her handicap sticker on the dash. She was 20 min. late and she had a $30.00 ticket. I think this is terribly unfair. She has a hard time walking because of asthma plus other problems. Also she had her sister with her who needs a wheel chair, she has an oxygen tank with her. My mother had to walk from one end of the hospital to the other to get the chair of which u have to pay for. They were in to see their brother. I thought that as long as you had bought a ticket and the sticker that they would leave you alone especially at a hospital or clinic. What do they expect people to do. They should update these parking people on the rules unless they have changed and if they have then you might as well throw the stickers in the trash after all what good are they????---thank-you------Barb
