Re: Aeroplan: Your Account Is Gone - The Company Has Your Points!
by Anonymous
If this 12 month expiry rule came into effect as of July 1st, 2007, why did my 20000 points expire August 31, 2007? Evidently they are back dating the points into the previous year instead of beginning from the July 1, 2007 date. Not to mention I've spent 6 weeks trying to book a flight on their site, which hasn't been working and during the past 10 days my points expired. I tried calling them umpteen times but 30-60 minute waits are just beyond insane!
